Thanks for including AMC’s airing of Airport ’77 – it’s been on my to-watch list for a while now, and I’m delighted to learn that I can watch it this week. I’m also looking forward to watching 13 Rue Madeleine for the first time.

AMC doesn’t run many good movies anymore, but I continue to check their schedule every week. This week, we got lucky. :) It’s been a long while since I’ve seen Airport ’77, so I hope to catch it again, and 13 Rue Madeleine is one of the “new to me” films I’m most excited to tape!

Lindsey! Thanks for including your picks for Netflix Streaming! I’m going to give ‘The Space Children’ a try; I like Jack Arnold…he directed some pretty cool sci-fi in the 1950s.
And my recommendation for both you and Natalie above is 13 Rue Madeleine, a pretty neat little espionage caper that we reviewed at the Derby Killer (with minor spoilers); I liked it, my friend wasn’t too impressed. I’m curious to see who you’d agree with!

Hope you enjoy The Space Children! It’s worth watching if for no other reason than the fact that it’s such a perfect example of the anti-nuclear “scare the crap out of the general public” brand of sci-fi that emerged mid-century.

I’ll see if Joe will watch it, too…he also has Netflix Streaming, and it would be fun to have two reviews on this one! If not, well, I’ll just stretch mine out a little bit…
