Just like last year, “The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.”
Here’s an excerpt:
Madison Square Garden can seat 20,000 people for a concert. This blog was viewed about 64,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Madison Square Garden, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
Holy mackerel, Lindsey, who’s that guy who keeps pestering you with comments? Congrats on a great year…I’m a little surprised, though, that our mini-blogathon for ‘Invasion of the Star Creatures’ didn’t make the Top 5!

Not pestering! I always enjoy your comments. I actually wish I had more readers commenting as frequently as you do, because as successful as the site has been, the comments sections are sometimes completely silent. One of my goals for 2014 is to try to make the site more interactive. Also, our mini-blogathon is a hidden gem of the internet that will eventually gain a cult following, so fear not its lack of ‘Top 5’ status!

What’s funny is, when I relaunch my site (end of January, I promise!), everything will be exactly as it was when I shut down in July. Meaning, ‘Invasion of the Star Creatures’ will still be the most recent review post on my blog. Meaning, I’ll still have it linked to your site, which will result in THOUSANDS of my faithful followers visiting your site and reading your review. Meaning, of course…CULT FOLLOWING.
