Funnily enough, two of the three films I watched on TV were films I actually own. They happened to be playing while I was staying in a hotel at the end of the month.

A big month for theater trips (again) and for WatchTCM!

DVD collection update:

  • In Her Shoes: Picked this one up cheap from Amazon when I had to make a belated textbook order. It was a moment of DVD-shopping therapy after the campus bookstore cancelled my textbook order without telling me… a week after classes had already begun. Ah, the joys of grad school! I’m glad I picked up this film, though. It had been a few years since I’d seen it and I liked it even more after giving it a re-watch this month.
  • Singin’ in the Rain: I was holding out for the Ultimate Collector’s Edition of this but decided to just go ahead and get the DVD when I ran across it for $7.50 at Target. I still want the fancy edition, but this will tide me over until I can afford the beast.

And that’s it!
