February 2012 in film!

Happy March! Today is the first day of the month, which means that it is once again time to take a look at what I’ve spent my time watching in the past 30 days.

New to me: 40 (Seen at the theater: 2/40)

Repeats of old favorites: 11

Total watched in February: 51

Compared to last month, I watched more films, and most importantly more “new to me” films. I watched more in total and fewer repeats, which is something to be proud of considering what my list looked like last year. (It was packed full of repeats.)

Again, I saw two in the theater, not counting a special screening of Casablanca at the library. Next month we’ll have to see if that pattern holds up — maybe I’m a two-trip per month theater goer and never realized it!

Total watched in 2012: 93

Ed. note: Some of the reviews for February, as you may have noticed by looking at the list, have not yet been posted. I only post one review per day and have watched more films than there have been days in the year, so naturally there’s a bit of back up. But they’re all written, so if there are any films near the top of the list that you’d like to read about, stay tuned over the next week!
