The day has finally arrived! The Gish Sisters Blogathon, hosted by myself and Fritzi of Movies Silently, is upon us! Today through September 9, we’re paying tribute to all things Gish in honor of the 101st anniversary of Lillian and Dorothy’s film debut, An Unseen Enemy.
In this post I’ll be linking every contribution to the blogathon over the next three days. Check back often for updates! The list will be separated by post date, and each of those sections of the list will be listed in alphabetical order by blog title, making it super-duper easy for everyone to keep up with all of the blogathon action!

UPDATE 9/9/13: There you have it, folks! As I post this final update, in about 34 minutes the last day of the Gish Sisters Blogathon will officially have ended. I’d like to thank everyone who participated — we have had so many wonderful, thoughtful entries on the careers of both sisters! And of course, I would like to give a very special thank you to my co-hostess, and the mind that conceived this blogathon, Fritzi of Movies Silently. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in bringing this event to life, and I think we’ve done a pretty darn good job of celebrating the lives and work of Dorothy and Lillian. :)
Hi Lindsey, could you add a link to my piece, on The Scarlet Letter, at Movie Classics? It actually went up last night but was officially a piece for today.

Thanks so much for your work in organising this, together with Fritzi!
