It’s that time of year again: Summer Under the Stars, TCM’s annual star-a-day celebration of classic Hollywood, is upon us! As I’ve done for the past three years, I’m sharing recommendations for every day of SUTS throughout August, in place of the usual weekly “TMP Recommends” posts. Today we’ll be looking at days 18 – 25. Happy viewing!

    For Warren Oates Day on TCM, I was hoping for ‘Race with the Devil’, a favorite drive-in cult classic of mine from the 1970s, but from the lineup offered I’d go with ‘Badlands’ or ‘The Wild Bunch’…the only two from the list I’ve seen (but both still good)!
