TMP Recommends: Summer Under the Stars, August 1 – 7

Many folks think of Christmas as “the most wonderful time of the year,” but for devotees of Turner Classic Movies, the most wonderful time is the month of August — the time of TCM’s annual Summer Under the Stars programming extravaganza. For those who need a reminder, Summer Under the Stars features a different classic film star each day, with the network airing a marathon of that person’s films. For the fifth year in a row, TMP will be offering two or three top-notch recommendations for each day of SUTS. We’re just a few days away from the start of August, so today I’ll be sharing recommendations for the first week of the month! All screening times are listed in EST and subject to change. Happy viewing!
