Lindsey’s lists: DVD collection part 1

I have a lot of DVDs and now I’ve decided to share them with you! (Well, not literally… but I’ll share pictures). The following are pictures of what is stored on my first shelf of DVDs. Some of them are great films, some of them are terribly embarrassing. (There are four shelves in total, not including my sister’s DVDs which are stored on a fifth shelf with my own.) Once the collection posts are complete, I plan on periodically sharing updates with new additions to the “family.”

Now, on to the good stuff…
Listed below are the films and how I acquired them (Bought at full price, bought from bargain bin, gift, blind purchase, etc.). Italics denote my favorite films from each stack.

    1. I always find them at such good prices that it’s been easy for my collection to grow quickly. I’ll go to my favorite record store and buy 5 or 6 used DVDs for what I’d spend for one at full-price. Fear not, your collection will grow too! :)

      1. I have that problem, there is a lack of stores selling DVD’s in Estonia. Most of mine are gotten after discount, but seriously, I got 5 in Sweden during one month spending as much as I would in Estonia for one. So yes, location matters as well.

        1. Oh yes, I didn’t think of that! The only thing I have trouble finding here is world cinema, which I have gone through the hassle of importing in the past. I can see how it would be 20x more difficult in Estonia.

    1. Those are two of my favorites! :) There will be even more of these posted throughout the month… aside from what’s listed here I have another shelf of single DVDs, half a shelf of box sets and a shelf of TV on DVD, haha.

  1. I was searching for images of Bell, Book & Candle and your image popped up and brought me here! I’ve also added you on Letterboxd. I’m kinda jealous that you got it as a bargain-buy, because now it’s out-of-print and pretty expensive!

    1. I didn’t know it was out of print now! Amazon seems to still have inexpensive copies, though I’m not sure if they’re new/if the sellers are trustworthy. Thanks for visiting the blog!
