DVD collection update:
This was a month for purchasing a few bargain cheesers. Feel free to judge me for my selections. I have no shame. Here’s the list:
Angels in the Outfield ($3, bargain bin); The Hot Chick ($2.99, Goodwill); Mrs. Doubtfire ($4.99, bargain bin); She’s the Man ($4.99, bargain bin); P.S. I Love You ($4, bargain bin)
In addition to those single DVDs I also picked up one multipack from Mill Creek — the Sci-Fi Creature Classics set, which includes 20 Million Miles to Earth, The Giant Claw, It Came from Beneath the Sea and Mothra. This set was only $3 and doesn’t overlap with any of my 50-movie packs from Mill Creek, so I had to pick it up!
No shame in ‘Angels in the Outfield’…as long as it’s the 1950s version! But I see it cost $3, so I’m guessing it wasn’t, so yes, hang your head in shame. As for Mill Creek, I’m going to pick up a new 12-film set I found called ‘The Best of the Worst’…some good cheesy ones in there I’ve never seen! And then, I too will hang my head in shame.

It’s not, it’s the 1994. I thought that was the least shameful of my single DVD purchases, though, because at least I can blame that one on nostalgia. I was three years old in 1994, I grew up on double features of the that film and The Sandlot!
‘The Best of the Worst’ sounds like a great set! No shame in that purchase if you end up buying it!

I am impressed with the bargain “cheesers”. Well done!

Mrs. Doubtfire was actually a good film (even as preposterous as it was). I own a copy of it too, although mine is still on VHS!

I used to have it on VHS but it got lost during a move (along with a whole box of tapes *cries*). Glad to have found such an inexpensive DVD copy!
