A much greater number of acquisitions this month than last! Let’s get into the list.

I’ve never seen this, but saw a preview of it on another DVD I bought recently and thought it looked cute. Couldn’t pass it up when I needed a cheap addition to my cart to reach the free shipping mark. (This DVD was only around $4). Plus, Common is in it. HELLO.
Special features: “The One You Can’t Live Without” featurette; “Common on the Fast Break”; Gag reel
- Killer Klowns from Outer Space – Amazon
I love this film SO MUCH. It became an instant favorite when I reviewed it for the “Classics of the Corn” series, and I get the theme song stuck in my head regularly. Not sure why it took me so long to grab the DVD, but I’m very glad to finally have it.

- That ’70s Show, Seasons 3 and 4 – Amazon
This is one of those shows that I’m very slowly collecting every season of. It’s one of my top 5 all-time favorite TV comedies, so while it’s very easy to find for streaming, I’d like to own the entire series. Having purchased these two seasons, I now own half of them!

Special features on Season 4: “Season 4 in 4 Minutes”; “Making Company”; Interview with Laura Prepon; Interview with Mila Kunis; Commenary on three episodes
- Walk the Line – Amazon
My sister borrowed my copy of this and I decided to let her keep it, because I know she loves the film as much as I do! Luckily, I was able to order myself a replacement for only about $4 on Amazon. This is one of my all-time favorite biopics.
Special features: Audio commentary; 10 deleted scenes
- Warm Bodies – Best Buy bargain bin find ($4.99)
DVD/Digital Copy/Ultraviolet combo. My dad saw this in theaters — he was on a business trip and had already seen everything else, but needed something to do other than hang out at the hotel haha. He had repeatedly said that it was surprisingly good, so when I came across such an inexpensive copy I decided to give it a watch.
Lots of special features!: “Boy Meets, Er, Doesn’t Eat Girl”; “R&J”; “A Little Less Dead”; “Extreme Zombie Makeover!”; “A Wreck in Progress”; “Bustin’ Caps”; “Beware the Boneys”; “Whimsical Sweetness: Teresa Palmer’s Warm Bodies Home Movies”; “Zombie Acting Tips with Rob Corddry”; Audio commentary with writer/director and actors; Deleted scenes; Gag reel; Theatrical trailer

Bare-bones Blu release with audio commentary and one behind the scenes featurette.
I didn’t do too much book-buying this month, but I did find a very inexpensive copy of the novel Sunnyside by Glen David Gold, which is a historical fiction about Charlie Chaplin. I haven’t heard much about it so I’m not sure what to expect, but it should be an interesting read!
