Today I’m heading north to one of Michigan’s many beautiful state parks for nine days of tent sleeping, lake swimming, and camp fires. TMP will be quiet from tomorrow through August 17 (with the exception of my scheduled Anti-Damsel Blogathon post on the 15th) as I enjoy the woods and unplug from technology.
To celebrate my annual camp adventure, today I’m sharing some fun camp/travel/wilderness-themed pictures from (mostly classic) films, and of classic film stars!

Have a good time!

Great choices here, but you’re missing a favorite – “You’re Never Too Young” with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis out at Big Bear Lake. My family and I just finished watching The Parent Trap this evening. Boy, do I enjoy your camping trip! Have fun, and don’t forget to hit those sticks together to ward off the mountain lions ( an old Indian trick ).

I’ve never seen that one. I’ll have to add it to my watch list. Thanks for the recommendation!
