It’s that time of year again: Summer Under the Stars, TCM’s annual star-a-day celebration of classic Hollywood, is upon us! As I’ve done for the past three years, I’m sharing recommendations for every day of SUTS throughout August, in place of the usual weekly “TMP Recommends” posts. Today we’ll be looking at days 7 – 17. …I feel like I’ve seen a lot of Robert Mitchum movies but just haven’t seen many of those that TCM are playing on his day! Feel free to leave me some recommendations. (From TCM’s schedule, I have seen My Forbidden Past and Home from the Hill but didn’t love either of them, so am not recommending them.)
