A short break!

Hello, movie buffs!

You may or may not have noticed that I missed yesterday’s post. I meant to have a post like this up yesterday.

I will be taking a short break from the blog — about two weeks, returning to our regularly scheduled programming on April 2. I’ve been particularly busy for the past couple of weeks and have simply fallen behind on writing.

I have notes for over a dozen reviews, waiting to be published — I just haven’t had the time to actually write the posts! I could whip them together on the day I post them, but I prefer to take more time than that, to gather my thoughts and edit several times before publishing. So, over the next two weeks I’ll be playing catch-up in my free time (and hopefully squeezing in a few screenings — I haven’t watched a movie since March 8th!).

See you in April with more classic movie goodness!

  1. I know EXACTLY what you’re going through…I have notes for close to 200 movie viewings that I need to get to (I had over 200 ’til I got a few posted in Jan and Feb). I was without a computer for a few weeks, and now I’m spending a week helping someone with some writing, so I’m quite fine with holding off a few more weeks on our blogathon! I should have my review written by the time you get back, so just let me know when you’re ready!

    1. I used to have over 100 *completely finished* drafts sitting in my WP dashboard at any given time. Now I’m lucky if I have enough completed for a week’s worth of posts. I genuinely have no idea how I ever made it as a daily blogger, haha. Perhaps I valued sleep less back then.

Our blogathon pick is high on my priority list for films to watch during this little break, so I should have my review ready to go by then, too! I’ll email you!
