Announcements, etc.:
Coming up in December I’ll be sharing my DVD collection on Saturdays (today excluded) and reviewing holiday films on Fridays. I’ll also be dedicating two days to the Gidget series as part of a “let’s distract ourselves from the cold” feature called Summer in ‘cember.
This month I participated in two blogathons: Nostalgiathon (The Mummy and Clueless) and My Movie Alphabet. Thanks to Mettel Ray Movie Blog and Andy Watches Movies for letting me know about these blogathons and allowing TMP to participate! (Visit my contribution posts for links to the blogathons themselves and the blogs of their leaders.)
I’ve also purchased a domain for the blog, so TMP is now the super fancy and professional themotionpictures.net rather than .wordpress.com. (Fear not – the old address and the old links in the Index, which I have yet to fix, should redirect you to the right place!)
If you have any suggestions for things you’d like to see in the final month of 2012 (Yikes! This year has flown by.) or if there are any cool blogathons coming up that you think I’d be interested in participating in, please let me know in the comments below!
Looking forward to your review of “A Christmas in Connecticut”. I adore that movie.

It’ll be my first post for the holiday series, so you’ll be seeing it next Friday. :) I can’t believe I hadn’t seen it before!
