For today’s post, I’m going to direct you over to the fantastic blog Rupert Pupkin Speaks, where I’ve written a guest post listing five underrated detective/mystery films. With appearances by Joan Bennett, Gene Tierney and Edward G. Robinson! Click on the image below to view the post.
Hi Lindsey! I visited the other site, but after the 32 steps it took to leave a comment, it still didn’t work, so I’ll leave it here instead. I’ve seen only two of those mysteries, but I really liked them both: ‘Dressed to Kill’ and ‘Where the Sidewalk Ends’. I always liked Dana Andrews in his noir films, and it was interesting to see his character so angry and vicious in ‘Sidewalk’. And is it safe to assume that you didn’t put the Sherlock Holmes one-sheet up, after making it clear that your ‘Dressed to Kill’ wasn’t the Sherlock Holmes version? Or did you do that to see if I was paying attention? ;-)

And for your synopsis on ‘Where the Sidewalk Ends’, they used a poster for ‘The Poseidon Adventure’.
Just kidding.
