1955 was a pretty good year for film, with the release of such classics as Rebel Without a Cause, Marty, The Night of the Hunter, Disney’s The Lady and the Tramp, and one of my personal favorites, Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief. But as is true for any year, for each big-reputation blockbuster there are half a dozen hidden gems to be discovered. I’ve put together a list of five of my favorite underrated films from 1955 — each from a different genre. Head over to Rupert Pupkin Speaks to read my list and others!
I must have missed that you write lists for Brian. I have too for 65, 75 and 85. Because of the time this podcast is taking, I may not have a chance to do 1955. I did compile the list and Killer’s Kiss was on it. That mannequin factory sequence! Well done.

I haven’t done ’65, ’75 or ’85 but I have done a couple of lists for him in the past. Underrated mysteries and another that my mind is drawing a blank on at the moment, haha. Glad to hear that Killer’s Kiss would have been on your list as well! That film deserves more love!
